Lorean Weng’s art embodies the gentle, free-flowing spirit of Zen. Her beautifully balanced harmony of colors and shapes and exquisite brushstrokes draw you into a serene world of beauty and tranquility. From a young age, Lorean has had a passion for drawing and especially loved Asian art.  Over 20 years ago, she embarked on her journey in Chinese Brush Painting studying under Master Artist Dr. Ning Yeh, later branching out into acrylics, oils, and Western watercolors while continuing to expand through many talented teachers. She enjoys painting on diverse surfaces including traditional rice paper to glassware and canvas. 

 

Lorean is passionate about sharing the beauty of Sumi-e and Chinese Brush Painting which inspired her to teach. She offers engaging classes at art conventions, community organizations, paint parties, and seminars.
